Why We Developed the Interjob System

Today, the Internet is the preferred tool of IT and communications jobseekers and the one most used by employers to land the best candidates.

Having worked for many years in the information and communications technology industry, we’ve had the chance to test the various recruitment systems now being offered on the market.

Here’s what we learned:

Job boards:

  • It’s always the same companies that post, because user costs are too high for most companies.
  • Most of the job offers candidates receive don’t suit their expectations and requirements.
  • Many staff recruitment agencies and head hunters use them. What this means is that if an offer is interesting, candidates must embark on a long and complicated process before an interview with an employer can be won.
  • When candidates apply for a job, competition is fierce.

Social networks:

  • They’re effective only for those with a solid background of professional experience
  • Or for those with a well-established contact network.
  • Much time and energy must be spent on them.
  • Once again, many staff recruitment agencies and head hunters use them (often at a candidate’s behest).

The careers section in company Websites:

  • Websites are often poorly designed and don’t always reflect the company’s quality and image.
  • Section content is often out of date.
  • The section’s main visitors are people who already know about the company.

Faced with these shortcomings, we devised a solution that would allow any job seeker to rapidly and efficiently send their Resume to a wide range of potential employers, whatever the company’s size or geographic situation.

And that’s why, today, we’re proud to launch the first version of Interjob.
